What is Woofy?
Woofy aims to build a network of trusted friends for dog owners within their community to rely on when needed. The main goal is to encourage dog owners to build friendships and relationships between themselves, their community, and their pets.
Dog owners should be able to effortlessly know ahead of time what environment they are putting themselves and their pets into, without worrying that their pet will not be safe or happy.
Right now, there are very few applications available that tackle this issue. Isolation will result in many unsocialized dogs who have not learned how to interact in various environments and owners who are unwilling to navigate through these multiple environments.
I propose designing an application that aids dog-owners in their decisions by providing accurate and efficient information of various dog-friendly environments. This design will allow users to research on the go, as well as communicate with dog-owners nearby.
