I am an aspiring graphic and UX designer who enjoys art and design in various mediums, such as vector art, Procreate, and UX Design. I am well-versed in Adobe suite programs, such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and UX Design programs, such as Figma and Miro.
I graduated in May 2020 from James Madison University, where I received a Bachelor of Business Administration and majored in Marketing. I also minored in art.
During my undergraduate studies, I worked in many different teams within the College of Business, which has made me a valuable teammate and led me to realize that I regularly end up as the team leader. I enjoy organizing and setting up a structure within my teams, which leads to a more productive and cohesive unit.

In my art studies, I learned about many different forms and mediums within the art world, some of which I had never tried before. These classes admittedly took me out of my comfort zone, which can be exciting but also terrifying. In June 2019, I stepped out of my comfort zone and studied abroad in France. During those three weeks, I studied Plein-air painting and French culture and tested the French-speaking skills I learned during high school.
In May 2020, the COVID pandemic began, and my senior year at James Madison University was cut short. I lost the last month of college, and my graduation event, which is crucial to one's college experience. After moving home, I began to dedicate much of my time to learning new skills platforms and developing my artistic abilities. I then realized that I wanted more structure when learning about different design principles, so I chose the Maryland Institute College of Art to guide my studies.
Although my user experience design portfolio is still in progress, I know I've learned, through class and self-teaching, many of the tips and tricks used within the popular UX design platforms. However, my graphic design portfolio has blossomed during my post-college life. I've experimented with new design platforms, and when stuck within that platform, I look to the immense library of knowledge within the internet.
I value my dedication and diligence to my design knowledge and skills and hope to continue to grow within the design field!
My passion lies in taking an idea into a visual form, as I have an eye for detail and take pride in my work that emphasizes creativity and innovation. In my graduate studies, I've learned various angles of UX Design, from Figma to usability testing to human-centered design. I've graduated now! I finished up in January 2022, and I'm interested in graphic design or UX design roles.
